Create a character
This project was pretty fun! We created our own character & added a background. I feel this was a pretty successful project. If I had the chance to redo it, I'd probably make the background different. I feel like it kind of clashes. We can't always have everything turn out perfect though, right? There's always room for some improvement!

letter drawing #2
This project was fun, but I feel there are many things I could have done to make it look better. My letters weren't solid like I wanted, I should have outlined the letters in black and I should have just spent more time on it. It looks nice, but I know I could have done a lot better. With this project we again had to chooe 4 letters. I chose to go with the same 4 letters I used before. The design I made with the letters looks pretty cool.
letter drawing one
This poject was actually a lot of fun. I chose the letter K, A, T, and E for this project. That's because it spells Kate, which is a pretty much what just about everyone calls me. They were the first 4 letters that came into my head when I was told to chose them. Painting the letters in different fonts was something that I really liked about this project. I feel like this really worked for me. My letters look smooth and I really like the ending result. If I had to do this project over the only thing I would probably do is make my letters a little bit bigger to take up more of the paper.

Clay
I've had the most fun doing the Clay Project. It was neat to be able to create whatever we wanted without using a piece of paper and a pencil. It was something different, but it was fun. I feel like my bowl I made turned out really well! I love the color choice I used when glazing it. I would say my piece turned out great and was very successful. It was hard creating the bowl, but I learned a lot. you can't just pile some clay together and expect it to create something. You have to take your time. In the end it's a better outcome. If I was to do this project over again, I would have shaped the top of it better, i felt as if the sides were a little uneven. I can't complain though, for my first time making anything with clay it turned out great.
Doodle
The Doodle project. I'm pleased with the outcome of this project. However if I was able to redo it, there is so many things I would have added and changed. I would have outlined it and used different designs. I feel like I used to many straight lines. I really could have done just about anything and this project would have been right. I could have made a pattern of something. I feel like it just needs some more detail. The project was easy, that for sure. You just let your mind wander and draw the things that come to mind.
Color Wheel
The color wheel was probably one of the most interesting projects we were able to do. Mixing the proper colors the get the color you need was probably the hardest thing about this project. I feel like my color wheel turned out pretty good though. If I had the opportunity to redo this project I would not add so much white paint at a time, that way the colors would have blended together better. From doing the color wheel project I now know what colors go well together and what colors clash.
two point city
My overall thought on this project is that it was harder than I expected. Drawing the road was easy, but when it came to the buildings I struggled. Trying to make them look like they were on the road and not way out into space, was hard. I feel like this piece is pretty successful. It has different colors, it's not boring. If
I was to redo this assignment I would make my buildings a little different. From doing this 2 point city, I learned that drawing isn't as easy at it looks. There's a lot to it to make it look good.
