WaterColor
The watercolor project was by far a project that I had the most fun with. For this project I chose 3 of my favorite clothing stores.. American Eagle, Abercrombie and Hollister. I chose different colors and I just really like it! If I was to redo this project I would have added more color to the background that way there wasn't so much white mixed in with it. Other than that I like the outcome! :)
Magazine Reflection
The magazine reflection project was actually one of my favorite. I spent a lot of time on this trying to make it look perfect since it was the last project of the year. I feel like the shading worked best for me. Trying to make the 2 pictures look identical was probably the hardest part. I wish we would of been able to add some color to this project, but the black and white shading looks great. If I could do this project over again, I would probably make some of my shading a little darker.

Character skeleton drawing
This project was a lot more interesting than I expected it to be. I had a lot of fun trying to draw squidward & I feel like he turned out pretty good! His skin color isn't exactly what it should be, but it still looks fair. Drawing squidwards skeleton was actually really hard. I could make up what I wanted the bones to look like & where I wanted them to go, but it was a struggle figuring how to make it perfect. If I could do this project over, I'd probably spend a little more time on it & make it look better.
Create a character
This project was pretty fun! We created our own character & added a background. I feel this was a pretty successful project. If I had the chance to redo it, I'd probably make the background different. I feel like it kind of clashes. We can't always have everything turn out perfect though, right? There's always room for some improvement!

letter drawing #2
This project was fun, but I feel there are many things I could have done to make it look better. My letters weren't solid like I wanted, I should have outlined the letters in black and I should have just spent more time on it. It looks nice, but I know I could have done a lot better. With this project we again had to chooe 4 letters. I chose to go with the same 4 letters I used before. The design I made with the letters looks pretty cool.
letter drawing one
This poject was actually a lot of fun. I chose the letter K, A, T, and E for this project. That's because it spells Kate, which is a pretty much what just about everyone calls me. They were the first 4 letters that came into my head when I was told to chose them. Painting the letters in different fonts was something that I really liked about this project. I feel like this really worked for me. My letters look smooth and I really like the ending result. If I had to do this project over the only thing I would probably do is make my letters a little bit bigger to take up more of the paper.

Clay
I've had the most fun doing the Clay Project. It was neat to be able to create whatever we wanted without using a piece of paper and a pencil. It was something different, but it was fun. I feel like my bowl I made turned out really well! I love the color choice I used when glazing it. I would say my piece turned out great and was very successful. It was hard creating the bowl, but I learned a lot. you can't just pile some clay together and expect it to create something. You have to take your time. In the end it's a better outcome. If I was to do this project over again, I would have shaped the top of it better, i felt as if the sides were a little uneven. I can't complain though, for my first time making anything with clay it turned out great.
Doodle
The Doodle project. I'm pleased with the outcome of this project. However if I was able to redo it, there is so many things I would have added and changed. I would have outlined it and used different designs. I feel like I used to many straight lines. I really could have done just about anything and this project would have been right. I could have made a pattern of something. I feel like it just needs some more detail. The project was easy, that for sure. You just let your mind wander and draw the things that come to mind.
Color Wheel
The color wheel was probably one of the most interesting projects we were able to do. Mixing the proper colors the get the color you need was probably the hardest thing about this project. I feel like my color wheel turned out pretty good though. If I had the opportunity to redo this project I would not add so much white paint at a time, that way the colors would have blended together better. From doing the color wheel project I now know what colors go well together and what colors clash.
two point city
My overall thought on this project is that it was harder than I expected. Drawing the road was easy, but when it came to the buildings I struggled. Trying to make them look like they were on the road and not way out into space, was hard. I feel like this piece is pretty successful. It has different colors, it's not boring. If
I was to redo this assignment I would make my buildings a little different. From doing this 2 point city, I learned that drawing isn't as easy at it looks. There's a lot to it to make it look good.

One Point Hallway
In this picture you see the good ole hallway at SLHS. Its boring, thats for sure. However I feel I did a pretty good job of drawing it. I felt like this drawing was difficult when it came to drawing the show case. You had to draw it coming out of the wall, which was a lot harder than it looked. If I could do the project over again I would make add more detail and make my lines a little more strait. I also might have added more brick look on the walls. Overall I think it looks pretty good for being the first hallway I have ever had to draw.
Create your own hallway
In this image, I created my own hallway. This way a fun project. I felt like I could add whatever I wanted, I could make it mine. That's just what I did. I added many different colors to draw attention, instead of the same ole brick walls that we see everyday of our lives. In the image there is also different places I like to go, that way others can enjoy the things I do. If I was to redo this project I would maybe take out some of the color so its not so crazy. I also more than likely would have added a bowling alley, since thats where I hang out with my friends a lot also. I think the most difficult part about this piece was trying to draw the things inside the different places.
2 Point Perspective
My overall thought of this 2 point perspective project was that it was interesting. Some of the letters were harder to make than others. After trying a few times, I feel like I did a pretty good job. This piece taught me that writing your name can be way more difficult then you think. If I was to do this project over I would more than likely spend more time on it. I would do a better job that's for sure.

one point perspective name
This was probably the most fun I had doing a project. You got to make the letters in your name however you wanted to as long as they are in one point perspective. You also had to color them in whatever color you wanted. I chose purple and blue since those are my two favorite colors. This project taught me that your name isn't as easy to write as you think it is, its actually very difficult.

action figure drawing
This piece was probably one of the most hardest things I have had to draw. Trying to get the arms to look the same and also drawing the face, it was difficult. The coloring was a lot of fun tough! I do notice looking at this picture that the arms don't really look the same, so if I was to redo this project that is what I would have changed. I would have to say it turned out pretty good for being the first action figure I have ever drawn.
Still Life
My overall thought on this Still Life project was that it was kind of difficult. It was hard trying to draw everything the right way and making sure you shaded in all the proper areas. After looking at this image I drew, I see there are are many spots that I could have spent some more time on to make the image look better. I did learn a lot from this piece though, shading was a big thing that I learned and that I'm probably gonna use a lot more in art class. If I was to do this project over again I would have shaded the bottom a little darker, I also would of made sure the tops of the containers were more round.

pop can line drawing
This piece was the first actual art project I have done. I feel pretty proud of myself. I feel like the actual pop can was so much easier to draw than the crushed can. The crushed can was very difficult for me to draw. The crushed can didn't work very well for me. However the actual can worked great for me. The drawing of the can was difficult for me. If I was to do this project over again, I would have added more detail to the uncrushed can. I also would have used a different side of the crushed can that would have shown more of the can and would have made it easier to see what kind of pop can I was going to draw.
